Fiberglass "skeleton" bonded to underside of carbon fiber hood. Hoods are hand crafted with additional features and weigh approximately 28.5 lbs., stock aluminum hood weighs 26.5 lbs.

Gas Struts Warning: Anderson Composites does not suggest reinstalling gas shocks/dampers/struts. OE gas struts place too much pressure on a composite hood. Always carefully close a composite hood. Slamming or dropping the hood may cause it to crack.

Pro Install: Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process. For the best possible fitment, we recommend having an expert install your product. Although some body shops have been in business for many years, they may not have sufficient experience in installing carbon fiber or fiberglass components.
